A 15-partner research consortium's abstract policy question became fieldwork, broadcasts, and public experiences that made a difficult topic accessible.

Not a branding case

PACESETTERS was a Horizon Europe collaboration involving 15 partners; within it, the ASP Kraków contribution focused on cultural and creative-sector approaches to anticipating a green post-war Ukraine. My work spanned fieldwork, laboratories, broadcasts, documentation, international collaboration, and public-facing activities — connecting research with live media, artistic practice, cultural programming, and visual communication. This isn't presented as a conventional design case; it's here to show how design and creative production can operate inside a complex international research structure.

PACESETTERS pushed my practice somewhere design school doesn't: into a 15-partner institutional structure where the deliverable is public understanding, not a file. Translating a research consortium's findings into something a general audience could feel was as much a design problem as any poster — just without a poster to point to.
